Week One Is Now Complete! Here is the re-cap.
Surprisingly enough, this week wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. I have found a new niche, I think.
Week 1: Thursday, April 1, 2010 – Wednesday, April 7th, 2010
- Work out 4 of 7 days this week. This will include cardio, of some sort, and or strength training. :: I made it to the gym four times this week and the lake once! That’s 4x for running and 1x for Yoga. I’ve found out just how much I enjoy that “Dreadmill”. Needing to work on my “love” for outdoor running though. I feel defeated and instantly get the “I can’t do this” attitude when I try to run outside. : / This has got to be fixed considering I am now (drum roll please)…….Registered for my very first face!!! I will be joining a sweet friend from church and we will be running the Oklahoma Autism 5K on May 1st. Call me crazy, but I’m going to do it!
- NO scale stepping until Thursday, April 8th. :: I stepped today. To my disappointment only 1lb has come off. *sigh* BUT… (see next goal)
- I will aim to be happy regardless of if I lose weight or not, I’m working on being healthy! :: The cool thing is, despite my small weight loss, my body is changing daily. The scale may not show it but I can physically SEE it! To me, that is all that matters! Clothes are fitting differently and that is a HUGE WIN!
- Drink 128oz (1 gallon) of water a day. :: I did this 6 out of 7 days this last week. I find it a lot easier to drink my water when I am at work than when I am at home. Odd but true. The cool thing about drinking so much water though is I now CRAVE water. Some people crave a pop or other beverages, I crave water. All I want is water. That’s an improvement!
Here are my goals for this next week -
Week 2: Thursday, April 8th, 2010 – Wednesday, April 14th, 2010
- 2.75mi in 30min – This can and will be done whenever I am running on the treadmill.
- Run outside 2 times.
- Drink 128oz of water a day.
- No Scale Stepping until Thursday, April 15th,2010
